Yardwaste Info

Due to state law, residents must keep yard waste (grass, leaves, weeds, garden plants, and brush) separate from regular garbage. This material is composted and spread on farmers' fields to improve soil content.

Yard waste materials are collected on your primary collection day from April - November. All yard waste, including leaves, must be placed in a 95-gallon yard waste cart or a “Kraft” biodegradable paper bag. Each bag of yard waste material must have one Universal "Refuse" sticker affixed for collection. The bag should not weigh more than 50 pounds. No plastic bags or metal containers may be used for yard waste collection.
