The City of West Chicago is a member of the Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency (IRMA). The City of West Chicago along with many other municipalities of this governmental risk pool is dedicated to working together to promote a safe community for the residents. IRMA is responsible for processing liability claims related to the City.
If a member of the community feels that they have suffered any injury or loss due to the responsibility of the City, they should contact the City of West Chicago’s Human Resources Coordinator, who is responsible for administering all risk management claims.
The form for filing of such a claim is available at City Hall, 475 Main Street or may be obtained from the website at the link below. The Citizen Claim Form section should be used to report any damage or loss to property. The Citizen Incident Report Form section should be used to report any injury occurring on City property.
