The City of West Chicago has announced that the 2018 State of the City Address will be held on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 475 Main Street. The Western DuPage Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the event and provide refreshments and a networking opportunity prior to its start at 5:30 p.m.
The State of the City provides residents and businesses an opportunity to learn more about the past year and what is being planned for the future of West Chicago. Mayor Ruben Pineda will deliver the Address and share information on topics most important to citizens. The theme, A Year of Accomplishment, was chosen to highlight the successful work that has been done over the past twelve months achieving multiple goals outlined in the West Chicago Strategic Plan.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend and learn more about West Chicago’s collective vision for the future and an overview of strategies for implementation. This is a free public event, and seating is provided on a first come first serve basis.
