Gallery Theater, located at 129 Main Street, announces its upcoming production, Miracle on South Division Street.
Clara Nowak and her three grown kids know they’re special, because the Blessed Mother appeared to Clara’s dad in his barbershop in 1942. Grandpa built a 20-foot shrine as a beacon of hope amidst the urban rubble. But now daughter Ruth plans to write and star in a one-woman show about the family miracle so the “whole world will know”. However, as her plans unfold, the entire family’s faith is shaken to the core when a deathbed confession causes the family legend to unravel. The results are heartfelt and hilarious.
The cast includes Gail Cannata of West Chicago, Maureen Navadomskis of West Chicago, Kas Hesek of Warrenville and Mike Greenstone of Evanston.
Performances are scheduled for November 10, 11, 12 and 17, 18, 19, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 3:00 p.m. on Sundays.
Tickets cost $16 for adults and $14 for seniors, and may be reserved at GalleryTickets@gmail.com, through the website www.Gallerytheaterstudio.org, or by calling the Box Office at (630) 234-5919.
