MERLE’S CORNER
The weather certainly has been March-like, sometimes a lamb, sometimes a lion. The signs of spring are starting to make themselves seen. The white snowbuds appear, even when snow is on the ground, welcoming spring. Daffodils are starting to push their way up to greet the sun, bringing forth a feeling of happiness. The Star of Bethlehem plants , though small, stand out (at my house, they were a vivid blue) and crocus are not far behind. Gardens are coming alive with a symphony of their own.
