Alderman Swiatek was appointed to the City Council in October 2018. He and his family have resided in West Chicago for 20 years. He currently serves on the Finance and Public Affairs committees. He has previously served the community through the Park District and local Cub Scouts. He looks forward to serving the residents of West Chicago through working to further the economic development of the city.
