The City of West Chicago is seeking to fill two Maintenance Worker I positions in the Public Works Department. The positions perform various semi-skilled activities within the operation areas of streets, water distribution, sanitary collection and storm sewer systems. The positions perform tasks in response to emergency overtime situations which include snow and ice removal. Applicants must be 18 years of age, high school graduate or equivalent. Starting Salary is $49,608. A valid State of Illinois Driver’s License is required and a CDL Class B license with a Tanker Endorsement and without an Air Brakes Restriction shall be required within six (6) months of hire date.
