The City of West Chicago's annual Blooming Fest is Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This special festival annually welcomes spring to the DuPage County region and features a large selection of craft and gardening vendors. If you are visiting the event, please be aware of road closures in the downtown area.
The free family-friendly festival is held outdoors in the downtown area of West Chicago and presents an opportunity for gardening enthusiasts and others to visit and view a variety of plants, artwork, and other vendor goods. In addition, there will be multiple food vendors on site to provide visitors with a great selection of food and drink options along with live music and family activities.
“This annual festival is a one-of-a-kind special event that is fun for everyone,” said City of West Chicago Special Events Coordinator Nicolette Stefan. “The City is looking forward to welcoming this event back to the region after the previous years’ cancellations.”
