Thorium Action Group/Kerr-McGee Chemical Corporation Scholarships are available to high school seniors who will be graduating in the spring of 2021.
Primary eligibility requirements are:
- Students must reside within West Chicago Community High School District 94.
- Students must attend an accredited postsecondary institution within the United States of America on a full‑time basis during the 2021-2022 academic year.
Students with a grade point average of “C” or better are encouraged to apply. The awarding of these scholarships is not solely contingent upon grades or GPAs. Every eligible student has an equal chance of being selected to receive this award. Students are not required to demonstrate a need for financial aid.
Thorium Action Group/Kerr-McGee Chemical Corporation Scholarships are administered through the Scholarship Program of the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley (CFFRV).

The application must be submitted no later than Monday, January 11, 2021 4:00 PM CST.
Late applications cannot be accepted. Therefore, it is strongly suggested that students submit the application prior to January 11th to avoid the risk of missing the deadline due to technical difficulties (internet down, computer reboots/crashes, etc.).
