The City of West Chicago will once again be participating in the Marine Corp Toys for Tots program.
Donations of new, unwrapped, toys can be dropped off at various locations through West Chicago including inside the West Chicago City Hall (475 Main Street) and the West Chicago Police Department (325 Spencer Street) on Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Additional locations in West Chicago, include the following:
- American Legion Post #300 located at 123 Main Street;
- Bunker Bar and Grill located at 216 Main Street;
- Haggerty Ford located at 330 E. Roosevelt Road;
- Slice Spot located at 960 Roosevelt Road;
- VFW #6791 located at 431 N. Neltnor Boulevard; and
- Wett Car Wash located at 193 W. North Avenue.
Donations will be accepted through Thursday, December 7. All toys will then be sorted and distributed to families in need throughout DuPage County.
Any members of the public wishing to be put on the list to receive a toy are to visit www.toysfortots.org, where instructions will be given on how to request toys for children.
