Frosty the Snowman visits schools to congratulate participants and winners of the Frosty Fest Essay Contest
Three students of Community School District 33 were chosen for their Frosty Fest essay, a holiday tradition of the City of West Chicago to engage students with local government and create lifelong memories of their hometown community.
Second-grader Sophie George, third-grader Natalie Pasillas, and sixth-grader Yolitzin Martinez will enjoy a special ride down Main Street in a horse-drawn carriage with Mayor and Mrs. Pineda during the Frosty Fest Procession on Saturday, December 1, 2018.
They will also assist with the tree-lighting ceremony which will take place at the Fox Community Center at 4:15 p.m. (or immediately following the Procession).
