Southbound IL-59 will be closed to one-lane between Glen Avenue and Forest Avenue beginning Monday, April 11 for road construction.
In addition, Glen Avenue will not be accessible from IL-59, and Hahn Place traffic will be limited to southbound only. Parking will not be permissible on Hahn Place during the project duration.
This is a project managed by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) with the major scope of the work being the removal and replacement of the existing retaining wall along the west side of IL-59 between Glen Avenue and Forest Avenue.
The project is expected to last through October.
