Lieutenant Governor Evelyn Sanguinetti visited Currier School on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 and spoke to fourth and fifth-graders about her life experiences and her role as Lieutenant Governor.
Her message to students was “if you dream big and work hard you can accomplish great things”. Lt. Governor Sanguinetti was also joined by Mayor Pineda who encouraged the students to get involved in their community.
The kids asked questions of both Mayor Pineda and Lt. Governor Sanguinetti. Since the day was designated “National Good Samaritan Day”, the Mayor and Lt. Governor wanted the students to honor the day by doing something nice for one another.
