Traffic impacts and lane restrictions go into effect Thursday, November 16 beginning at 7 a.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Wilson Avenue, as the City’s contractor, Integral Construction, makes improvements to the sanitary sewer system in the area. Work is anticipated to be completed mid-December, weather depending.
Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time when traveling through this area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs, obey the posted speed limits, and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
The essential improvements consist of the replacement of 1,000 linear feet of sanitary forcemain and the installation of a new gravity sewer are part of the City’s Sanitary Lift Station #5 Replacement Project.
