The City of West Chicago has been advised that due to the extreme temperatures expected this week, Groot will NOT be in operation on Wednesday or Thursday.
Therefore, the following will occur:
Wednesday Customers: No collection this week; any garbage placed outside in the provided toter, in bags, or in another container will be picked up at no charge next WEDNESDAY.
Thursday Customers: Collection will be on Friday this week.
Friday Customers: Collection will be on Saturday this week.
