Administration Department
The City of West Chicago's Administration Department implements City Council policies, advises on financial, personnel, and program needs, prepares the annual budget, and supervises department heads, while managing City records and overseeing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests to ensure transparency and efficient operations. The Department also manages human resources to ensure labor law compliance and employee support, and oversees the City’s information technology (IT) infrastructure and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). These functions work together to ensure efficient City operations and support long-term goals.
