Annual Business Registration Renewal
All for-profit (businesses) and non-profit (governmental agencies, religious and charitable) organizations within the corporate limits of West Chicago are required to renew their Business Registration on an annual basis. The renewal fee is $30.00 if the application and payment are received by December 31st of each calendar year. While non-profits are exempt from paying the fee, the Registration Renewal Application is still required.
2025 Business Registration Renewal Application
The Business Registration Renewal process for 2025 is underway. Emails with a link to the renewal form have been sent to the applicant from the previous year's submission. If you have not received it contact Kelley Chrisse at kchrisse@westchicago.org.
In addition to the renewal form, payment is required in the amount of $30.00 (fee increases to $110.00 after January 31) and can be made:
- In-person using cash, check, or credit card (no processing fee added) at City Hall. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am until 4:30pm. The hours on Wednesdays in January are extended until 6:00pm.
- By mail or via payment drop box at City Hall using a check made out to the City of West Chicago with the business name in the memo.
- Online with a Credit Card via the Illinois E-Pay System. Click on “Make a One-Time Payment,” select the “Business Registration Fee” as the Payment Category and then fill in the business information. The date of payment can be entered in for the “Date Application Submitted.” The payment amount will have a processing fee added to it.
