Project Scope

The 2024 Roadway Rehabilitation Project includes resurfacing approximately 1.55 miles of various streets. The Project’s scope generally consists of the following:

  • pavement milling;
  • hot-mix asphalt (HMA) resurfacing;
  • full-depth HMA pavement patching;
  • intermittent concrete sidewalk, including, ADA curb ramps, intermittent combination concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement;
  • storm and sanitary sewer repairs, including storm and sanitary structure replacement and adjustments;
  • parkway restoration; and
  • thermoplastic pavement markings.

2024 Sidewalk and Curb Maintenance Program

Project Scope

  • The project consists of intermittent removal and replacement of approximately 3,900 square feet of sidewalk and 250 linear feet of curb and gutter at various locations throughout the City. The Program also includes the construction of an aggregate base course for ground stabilization, inlet adjustments, detectable warning installation, tree root pruning, and restoration items, including hot-mix-asphalt and concrete driveway replacements, pavement patching, and sodding.

Project Scope

The Project’s scope includes the removal of the existing corrugated metal pipe culvert and two cast-in-place (CIP) junction chambers and replacing it with a single-cell, 6’ x 3’ precast concrete box culvert with a CIP end section, solider pile retaining wall and a precast concrete junction chamber, full depth hot-mix asphalt (HMA) pavement removal and reconstruction, HMA resurfacing, widening and placement of 8-foot HMA bike path to accommodate for future Wayne Township’s bike path project along Klein Road, HMA and aggregate shoulder construction, storm sewer improvements, temporary detour, thermoplastic pavement markings, fieldstone riprap installation, tree removals, native planting, landscaping, and other collateral work necessary to complete the project.

Project Scope

The Project includes full-depth reconstruction and widening of road pavement with 10” jointed Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) pavement, street light removal and replacement, new sidewalk construction, installation of ADA-compliant detectable warnings and curb ramps, driveway removal and replacement with curb & gutter, relocation of fire hydrants, miscellaneous storm sewer structure adjustments, reconstruction and replacement of spot sanitary sewer structures and pipes, and other miscellaneous work as denoted in the Project plans and specifications.

Project Scope

  • The project includes the spray application of Reclamite and the application of the lime screening on existing hot-mix-asphalt (HMA) pavement to rejuvenate the HMA pavement properties to prolong the life of the pavement. Furthermore, the project includes sweeping, and disposal of the aggregate by the contractor, and proper traffic control and protection.
