West Chicago’s official Halloween Trick-or-Treating hours are from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 31.As families prepare for this year, the City of West Chicago encourages parents to visit the City's website to view several tips to ensure a safe evening for their little ones.  

Residents can discard their pumpkins to be composted as part of the West Chicago pumpkin composting event scheduled for Saturday, November 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the New Hope United Methodist Church of West Chicago located at 643 E. Washington Street.
