On-street parking is permitted throughout the City unless otherwise designated. No person shall park a vehicle on any street for a period of time longer than thirty (30) minutes between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. without submitting an overnight parking request.

Overnight Parking
If a vehicle is to remain parked overnight between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., an Overnight Parking Request must be submitted online or by contacting the West Chicago Police Department at (630) 293-2222 prior to 2:00 a.m. to avoid a citation. Overnight parking requests are limited to three (3) requests within a thirty (30) day period, and cannot be granted for residents of multi-family buildings. Falsified or inaccurate information may lead to a citation.
Please note, parking is prohibited on all streets after a two (2) inch snowfall until the street has been completely plowed curb-to-curb.
Pay Parking Fines
Parking tickets may be paid through E-Pay, in person at City Hall, by mail or deposited in the overnight drop box in front of City Hall using the envelope provided with the ticket. In order to avoid penalties, please allow sufficient time for mailing payment. You may request a court hearing concerning the ticket. This request must be made at City Hall or by calling (630) 293-2200. Fines not paid by the due date are doubled.
