The Consolidated General Election will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Nomination packets for the 2025 Consolidated Election are now available at the Finance Department Desk in the West Chicago City Hall, 475 Main Street, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Completed nomination packets must be filed between Tuesday, November 12 and Monday, November 18, 2024. All forms should be submitted with the Executive Office Manager at City Hall, 475 Main Street, West Chicago, no later than 5:00 p.m. on November 18, 2024. Offices will remain open until 5:00 p.m. on the last day of filing.
The following offices, which hold four-year terms, are up for election:
- Mayor (currently Ruben Pineda)
- Alderman, Ward 1 (currently Lori Chassee)
- Alderman, Ward 2 (currently Heather Brown)
- Alderman, Ward 3 (currently Christine Dettmann)
- Alderman, Ward 4 (currently Sandy Dimas)
- Alderman, Ward 5 (currently Christopher Swiatek)
- Alderman, Ward 6 (currently Jeanne M. Short)
- Alderman, Ward 7 (currently John Banas)
