
The City of West Chicago’s 2025 Roadway Rehabilitation Project is underway, with substantial completion anticipated by September 2025, weather permitting.
During construction, residents in the project area may experience temporary traffic restrictions and limited driveway access during work hours. Construction is scheduled to take place Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All streets will remain open to traffic at the end of each workday. Mail delivery, package delivery, and waste collection services are not expected to be disrupted.
Streets Included in 2025 Rehabilitation Work
The following locations in the Cornerstones Lakes and Forest Trails neighborhoods are in this year’s rehabilitation work:
Cornerstones Lakes:
- Andrus Drive from Davenport Drive to Bainbridge Boulevard
- Bainbridge Boulevard from Blanchard Lane to Lehman Drive
- Havens Drive to Blanchard Lane
- Wyeth Drive to Bainbridge Boulevard
- Culver Lane from Adelia Lane to Camden Drive
- Camden Drive from Adelia Lane to Lehman Drive
Forest Trails:
- Trillium Trail from Spring Cress Lane to Wild Ginger Lane
- Wild Ginger Lane from Hawthorne Lane to Trillium Trail
- Spring Cress Lane from Trillium Trail to Aster Lane
- Aster Lane from Wild Ginger Lane to Spring Cress Lane
- Cranesbill Lane from Trillium Trail to Aster Lane
- Columbine Lane from Trillium Trail to Aster Lane
Impacted Resident Notifications & Overnight Street Parking
Impacted property owners have been provided with detailed project information. Any necessary future updates will be communicated directly by City staff or the City’s authorized contractors and consultants.
If driveway access is restricted during evening hours, overnight street parking will be permitted for affected residents. To submit an overnight parking request, please contact the West Chicago Police Department at (630) 293-2222 or use the online form at westchicago.org/overnight-parking.
