Brush Collection Program begins Monday, November 4; brush can be placed no earlier than Saturday, November 2.
Please note the following reminders for the Brush Collection Program:
- Brush may be placed two days prior to the listed collection date; placing brush earlier may result in a fine.
- Brush collection does not coincide with regular residential garbage pickup days, and is typically completed within five business days.
- Brush collection crews alternate the start of collection from the north and south side of the City each collection period.
- Branches and limbs must be no larger than 8-inches in diameter and stacked neatly on the parkway with cut ends facings towards the street; do not place brush in the street.
- If brush is not accessible, piles will not be picked up.
- Do not tie or bundle brush piles, or place brush in containers.
- Brush piles containing logs, large limbs, stumps, or foreign materials will be rejected.
- Brush poles placed after crews have passed, or piles that have been rejected, must be removed until the next collection period.
If brush is not picked up, crews will leave a notice explaining why the pile was rejected.
