The City publishes all its updates regarding events, services, programs, and news directly to its website. News items are typically maintained on the City's main page for up to thirty days prior to being archived. Recent and archived news items can be viewed on this page.
Members of the public interested in receiving notification regarding new news items, can follow the City's social media platforms or subscribe to the City's digital newsletter.

Members of the media and press are encouraged to follow the City's communications platforms for up-to-date information from the City. Additional requests for information may be sent to communications@westchicago.org.

Community Bulletin
The City produces a concise one-page printed bulletin that spotlights seasonal reminders for City events, services, and programs. The bulletin is available at the onset of each season in the City Hall’s entryway during the following timeframes:
- Winter (December to February)
- Spring (March to May)
- Summer (June to August)
- Fall (September to November)
